Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform or check conceptual and detailed development efforts for technology systemsPerform or check engineering calculations / analysis for hardware and offshore structuresCreate complete design packages including bill of materialsPrepare or check technical procedures, reports or specifications for procurement (services and products), manufacturing, assembly, testing, and operationsPrepare or check design specifications utilizing systems engineering techniques (including TMA, FMECAs and requirements definition methods)Participate in the engineering review and trade study processes as a reviewer and a contributorProvide guidance / mentor designersStudy, interpret, and implement requirements from industry codes and regulatory authorities.Maintain and execute a project plan and the technical functions related to project management methodologiesMay coordinate the efforts of technicians and designers on specific projectsFollow-up tests in person, both at laboratory and Oceaneering facilitiesOther duties as assigned Qualifications:-Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering-Advanced English-CREA-Previous experience in R&D or product development area-Experience developing hardware or offshore structures is desirable-Knowledge of reliability engineering is desirable-Proficiency in the application of engineering software (i.e. SolidWorks, Mathcad, Ansys, etc.)Location: Rio de Janeiro, RJThis opportunity includes people with disabilities or those rehabilitated by the INSS.
