Manage team and activities in professional education to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage and oversee the work of small team and may indirectly manage cross functional or matrix teams as appropriate. Develop a robust talent development plan in alignment with functional growth strategies of the department
- Drive the team of THV Clinical Education specialists to develop training programs and content for Health Care Professionals, considering robust processes with metrics, selection criteria and post-event follow-up steps.
- Ensure team´s excellence in execution when providing education on all aspects of the device, device handling, implantation and troubleshooting techniques related to equipment, tools and products required for device implants.
- Develop training programs and content for commercial & field teams, considering robust processes with metrics, selection criteria and post-event follow-up steps. Also develop and maintain sales team educational dashboard to track knowledge/expertise to drive necessary educational activities.
- Accountable for the development training materials and programs for therapy/product education through the team of THV Clinical Education specialists in collaboration with Marketing team.
- Ensure team properly manages the documentation of certification processes for FCS, crimpers, implanters and proctors. Interact with KOL and proctors.
- Support budget management for Professional education and Internal training activities
- Manage activities with the accountability for successful completion of all deliverables.
- Identify risk, develop mitigation strategies, alternative solutions, resolve issues, action item follow up in collaboration with cross functional and/or matrix teams
- Ensure Health Care Professionals (HCPs) adhere to compliance to Edwards processes, SOPs, and other relevant procedures.

**Education and Experience**:
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in related field strong clinical background equired
Master's Degree or equivalent in in related field Preferred
**Additional Skills**:
- Advanced level in English and Spanish
- Demonstrated track record in people management required
- Experience working in a regulated industry preferred
- Proven successful project management leadership skills
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools and systems
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision making
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
- Expert understanding of professional education procedures while addressing issues with impact beyond own team based on knowledge of related disciplines
- Expert understanding of related aspects of professional education processes and/or systems
- Knowledge of financial mechanism that relates to professional education
- Demonstrated ability to manage assigned team and provide coaching and feedback, including responsibility for all employee actions including hire/fire authority and partnering with HR on all aspects of employee relations
- Ability to develop and integrate metrics into the projects and operations that clearly demonstrate the value of professional education the business
- Strict attention to detail
- Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
- Ability to work and excel within a fast paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environment
- Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
