The Professional Education Specialist will be responsible for the Physicians and Team Certifications to work safely and help them to improve patients outcomes
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Work on the Professional Education tasks
- Events, Congresses and KOL management
- Provide Clinical Certifications for new customers (physicians and staff) for the Laser Platforms: ILASIK and CATALYS Systems
- Provide Clinical Support for customers who are certified in LCS and refractive Lasers iFS and VISX, according to the Clinical Program and visit them from time to time following the schedule or customer needs.
- Strength relationship with customers, increasing the confidence in Johnson and Johnson Vision Lasers, boosting the use of the systems.
- Works with the commercial team creating action plans and participate of activities that will improve the clinical knowledge and the patient outcomes on the Refractive and Cataract lasers systems.
- Promote a culture of compliance to regulations, standards, and procedures and risk management throughout the organization.
Support departmental and franchise objectives, while adhering to the Johnson and Johnson Credo, as well as local safety and environmental policy and procedures.
- Always improve the knowledge as a Clinical Specialist related to the newest surgical techniques and products.
- Participate in Congresses and Symposiums to increase the knowledge and get along with customers, Marketing and Sales Team.
- Help other colleagues with Clinical Support when needed and change experiences.
This position will report to the Regional Professional Education Manager
**Qualifications**
**Education**:
- Graduation completed is required
- Graduation in Health Sciences or engineering is preferred ;
- Minimum Experience in Ophthalmic procedures
- (ophthalmic Surgeries preferred)
- Qualified Health Care Provider with minimum scientific degree qualification with at least 3 years experience in professional space (preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
